Deska

Deska is a new brand on the wooden floor market, a modern company open to new materials and technologies. Their products are targeted at aware consumers who are looking for smart solutions and who appreciate natural materials.

In 2017 we were invited to create a visual identity for this new brand. The first step was to invent the name. The owner wanted it both to appeal to the international audience and to hark back to the company’s Polish origin since Polish products are highly esteemed on the wooden floor market. This is how we came up with Deska (which is Polish for 'plank').

Input
A great name, a great product and creative freedom. We felt it was necessary to create new quality and to make this fresh brand stand out.
Process
We decided to combine the synthetic, high-contrast visual elements with warm coloured wood.
Output
We created an outstanding visual identity - minimal and straightforward, yet very strong.
