Citizen Hex
Citizen Hex is a technology startup from Canada building Ethereum-based products and solutions for the business. They plan to create e.g the world’s most secure wallet for storing crypto assets and Block Sniper which may revolutionise the cryptocurrency exchange markets.
In the spring of 2017 Citizen Hex asked us to design visual identity, key visuals and a small website to present their company.

Input
The challenge was to present the ambitious projects of Citizen Hex and to meet their requirements regarding the brand identity: 70% Retro 30% Future, and 60% Digital 40% Human :)
Process
We used the imagery and metaphors associated with security, data encryption, cryptography and exchange markets. From matching patterns to custom lettering, we made all pieces fall into place.
Output
The creative process resulted in a clean and modern visual identity featuring custom lettering (with its simplified version used in the logo) and bold colours. The website contains interactive animations made of the Hex Code font which draw upon the data encryption techniques.
