Komputronik

Komputronik has been on the market since 1996. Currently it’s the leading vendor of computers and electronics and the biggest chain of stores of this type in Poland. The rapidly developing company made a successful debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in 2007.

In the autumn of 2016 together with Juice we were asked to create a new campaign promoting the segment of desktop computers. Market research shows the return of sentiment and increased sales of personal computers. Some of the reasons are a dynamic growth of interest in professional video gaming and increased demand of design companies for more powerful machines.

Input
The idea was to do away with negative connotations regarding personal computers (the dissonance between the over-the-top computer case design and the desired effect - a balanced and professional feel of the product for advanced users).
Process
The greatest challenge was to find the idea for a powerful and professional photoshoot of computer cases. We looked for a way to overcome their visual heaviness, but eventually we did the contrary.
Output
Our solution was to stress it! We decided to show the monolithic construction of desktop computers. Visual simplicity and good use of angles in our photos bring out the dormant power and effortlessness of personal computers.
