Sto na Sto (1st prize)

The Polish Music Publishing House (Polskie Wydawnictwo Muzyczne, PWM) announced a competition to design a visual identity and graphic materials for their “100 na 100” project. The project’s aim is to celebrate the centenary of regaining independence by presenting 100 best Polish musical pieces composed after 1918. The scope of the project was huge: 22 concerts (11 in Poland and 11 abroad), conferences, 30 albums, 11 books, gadgets, mobile applications, websites and materials for children. There was a lot to design!

We won the competition, and we proudly present the result below.
Scope
Branding, Print, Packaging, Web design
Input
A vast project scope, a very inspiring subject and the importance of the event. After all, the centenary of regaining independence doesn’t happen every day!
Process
First of all, we wanted to avoid unnecessary pathos. The event flawlessly combines music and history, and so does our design.
Output
We created a memorable and consistent visual identity. Its primary motive is the number “100” which appears throughout the design.
